[China's textile industry is deeply integrated into the global supply chain]

This New York exhibition has a three-day exhibition period with a total exhibition area of more than 30,000 square meters. Nearly 1,000 companies from 19 countries and regions participated in the exhibition. The Chinese pavilion includes more than 600 companies from 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian. enterprise. In addition to the Chinese pavilion, Turkey, Colombia, South Korea, Pakistan, Guatemala, India and other countries and regions also appeared in the form of pavilions.


This year's New York show is unique in green and technological innovation. The high-end garment manufacturers in China accounted for 44% of the total, up 20% from last year. 86% of exhibitors have a mid-end garment production line. Not only that, the participation of exhibitors through various types of environmental protection certification is as high as 58%, which reflects that Chinese textile and garment enterprises are striving to transform and upgrade in the direction of green and sustainable. In addition, at the fabric procurement exhibition, the proportion of functional fabric companies increased, compared with the same period last year, the "Made in China" technology is higher.


The clothing exhibition also set up a platform for companies to directly communicate with local Korean apparel fabric buyers, R&D experts and designers to better show exhibitors the creative and high-quality side of China's textile industry and better boost them. China's creative design docks the global market.


Along with China's 40 years of reform and opening up, China's textile industry has actively embraced global textile resources and the international market, becoming the world's largest textile producer, exporter and consumer. Xu Yingxin, vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, said that the Chinese textile industry has been deeply integrated into the global textile and apparel supply chain and value chain, and trade and investment cooperation with various industries has also been continuously upgraded.


Since its inception in 2000, the New York Show has become an important business method for promoting the healthy and stable development of the textile and apparel trade, and has become an important channel for many small and medium-sized enterprises to obtain first-hand orders and reduce transaction costs.


The New York show also kicked off the China Textile Overseas Exhibition in the second half of the year. In September of this year, China Textile and Apparel Trade Fair (Paris) Autumn Exhibition and Paris International Apparel and Accessories Fair, GOTEX International Textile and Apparel Sourcing Exhibition in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the third South African China Textile Exhibition in November and two sessions a year. Exhibitions such as the Dhaka International Fabrics and Yarns Exhibition in Bangladesh will be held in succession to help Chinese companies to launch the “Made in China” brand image globally.
