The PP fibre is spun into silk after being polymerized into polypropylene by using propylene as a raw material. The PP fibre mainly has the following characteristics.

1. The strength is high, and the general breaking strength of the polypropylene thread is 4.5 to 7 g/denier. This value is comparable to the high-strength varieties of polyester and nylon in synthetic fibers. There is no loss in strength during wet conditions.

2. Good wear resistance and elasticity. The wear resistance of polypropylene thread is second only to nylon in chemical fiber. When the elasticity is 3%, the elastic recovery rate can reach 96%, so the clothes made of polypropylene thread are not only durable, but also have a firm appearance and good dimensional stability.

3. Light weight (0.91), corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance.

Because PP fibre has the above characteristics, it is widely used in our daily life and manufacturing.
